Pentagon Official: The Obama Drone Kill Memo Is Out And Libertarians Were Right — It’s Murder

Instead of taking the U.S. citizens the administration accused of conspiring against the U.S. and her interests to court, the administration was looking for an easier way to solve the problem: They sought to kill them, and wanted the legal backing to do so. But here’s an issue: Even if a U.S. citizen were to be tried in absentia and found guilty of conspiring to commit terrorism by a federal court, the punishment for doing so is not death, and certainly not from a missile fired by a Predator drone.

That has not stopped the Obama administration from doing just that. To date, Anwar al-Awlaki is one of three U.S. citizens to have been killed abroad by the Obama administration without having received due process in a court of law. Another of those was his 14-year-old son, who by all accounts was innocent and was not accused of conspiring to commit terrorism.

None of those killed were in the midst of an act of terrorism, nor were they actively engaged in fighting U.S. troops in a war zone. At the time of his death, al-Awlaki was riding in a vehicle in the Yemeni desert. We made no attempt to capture him or arrest him, despite assurances made to the Justice Department. No one was been made to answer for these deaths, especially that of al-Awlaki’s son.

The signatory for the memo was then-Assistant U.S. Attorney General David J. Barron. In the memo, the administration contends that a U.S. citizen’s alleged leadership role in al-Qaida, and the infeasibility of capturing them, provides sufficient legal justification for either the CIA or the Department of Defense to use lethal force and deny that citizen their right to due process — all based on the authorization of force passed by the Congress after 9/11, and another memo also written by Barron that remains classified.

The problem is that the administration is making the accusations against a U.S. citizen, rendering a judgment of guilt or innocence outside of the court system, and then carrying out an extrajudicial killing of American citizens in complete and utter violation of the Constitution. The part of the memo that addresses the right to due process is redacted.

At no point in the extralegal process outlined in the memo is the U.S. citizen in question tried or convicted in a court of law for the crimes the administration alleges the individual is guilty of. The administration is making that determination, and exactly who within the administration is still unclear. This is a scary usurpation of power from the judicial branch — and an amazing power grab by the executive.

Finally, under the legal reasoning outlined in the memo, there is nothing to prevent the president from ordering a lethal operation against U.S. citizens inside the United States, as the memo does not stipulate that there is a geographic limitation to these operations — only a test of feasibility. Nor is there a single requirement for a federal court of judge to make the determination that a person is a member or leader of a terrorist organization.

When this country was created, the Founders may not have anticipated the dangers posed by a terrorist cell capable of killing thousands or more. But they knew well, and carefully guarded against, the dangers of a government gone wild. In this memo, finally made public, we have proof of a White House that considers itself judge, jury and executioner. And that, America, is a  clear and present danger.

Thank you, Don Corleone. But really, I don’t mind! 

First, I wish to apologize for this Fact Check being issued in advance of the commencement of the long awaited event. Please, relax. This is not some announcement or “heads up”.

The following are my words only. I am not writing because of anyone’s instruction or prompting. 

The reason I am communicating with our readers at this time is because I have been reviewing the over 550 comments in FC 122 and I am seeing a slight anxiety that is really unnecessary.  

The anxiety was further called to my attention from the many back channel e-mails requesting more Fact Checks, for “any further information possible”, or just some bit of hope that we will soon see the RV and such.

If I could, I would present updates from the front lines, in real time, all day long. But, that is just not possible. Of course, there are those on the numerous other guru blogs that seem to do just that, but we certainly know such landscape is wanting of accuracy and sometimes is of questionable motive.

Over the last 30 days I have had some brief communication with our contact. I initiated the communication to discuss the possibility of issuing a Fact Check on recently released information that was highly questionable in my mind. But, after accepting counsel on the matter, it was decided that, at this stage of the process, to disregard any notions of further checking and continue a quiet posture and shift attention to planning the important work of the future.  As advised, we issued no such Fact Check. I want you to know that I really wanted to cover the particular material.  But, as Mr. Spock would say, “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one“. During the aforementioned communication, it was mentioned that things are going very well. There was no mention of defeat or retreat.

To further assuage any anxious feelings, please do not lose sight of the reason all of these fine people are working so hard. They are not gathered in such a large force to prattle of great visions for the future – and then give up. As mentioned in FC 115, we are going to see the largest financial shift in world history come down the pike, and we better prepare for it. Do so. 

As we discussed in the last Fact Check, there really are no issues of critical importance that require WHA to make inquiries of our WH friends on a continual basis at this time. The tone and form of my last several communications with our contact have been markedly different than in the past. It is similar to the feel of a business meeting that has reached its conclusion, where everyone in the meeting knows that further discussion would only be pedantic and repetitive. At some point the discussions and questions have to stop and the theoretical ideas in that meeting have to be put into practical use, or what was the point of the meeting? So, please understand that it is my judgment, at this time, to continue to suspend further significant inquiries to our WH contact unless absolutely critical.

Please continue to shift your attention away from the mechanics of “when” and onto the implementation of your particular planned contributions and personal financial arrangements.  Let those who are in charge of the WGS, etc., attend to such matters of “when” and “how”. Those issues are completely and utterly out of our hands by virtue of the specific station, talents and abilities that only certain people posses to effect the desired result. Again, focus on what you CAN do when the time comes.

The few complainers and malcontents that have shown mental incapacity for such thinking have long gone from our midst. It is only natural that they have gone, as this environment will not nurture such behavior. Such indifference and defective thinking is what got us into such a mess, and it will not get us out of it.

In closing, let me say that our readership has been very supportive. I am very glad to have met so many wonderful, caring and supportive people while administering the blog. I know many of you will make great contributions to supporting the advancement of social betterment and technological advancement of the living standards for all, and to foster better relationships with all nations and people. 

Continue to set the good example you have, remain patient and know that we will post anything we are instructed to post, if anything, or any other significant news, right away.

End of the New World Order

When the richest and most powerful nations on Earth formed the G7, G8, G20 and the like, they united to combine their dominance over the remaining 175 countries that make up humanity. And for decades, the wealthiest 20 countries led by the US have gotten exponentially more wealthy at the expense of the poorest 175 nations, who in turn have gotten even poorer. That’s been the result of the West’s ‘New World Order’, led mainly by self-appointed global governments like the International Monetary Fund and the World Trade Organization.

133 of those 175 countries have had enough of the New World Order’s rigged global financial system based in New York and London. They’ve seen their economies destroyed by corrupt corporations and global governments that create a cycle of never-ending dependence and poverty.  They’ve seen their nations’ vast resources stolen by multinational corporations. Their agriculture landscape has been poisoned. Their citizens bankrupted by the IMF and Wall Street. And their democratically elected leaders overthrown by foreign agents from countries like the US.

They’ve had enough of the New World Order. And an alliance of 133 countries, two-thirds of the nations on Earth, signed an agreement this weekend to end the West’s New World Order and replace it with a fair, honest and legitimate World Order – one that lets everyone participate and benefit, not just the super rich.

The Next World Order

The organization is officially called the ‘Group of 77 and China’, but the alliance actually includes 133 nations. Showing just how much influence they have, their meeting this weekend in Bolivia was opened with a keynote speech by United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. In the audience were over 30 heads of state from around the world and official representatives from over 100 more governments. Also illustrating the organization’s growing influence, China isn’t even a member of the G77, but insisted on participating anyway in a show of unity with the globe’s Next World Order.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro participated, telling the gathered nations they had to unite to, “fight for fair and sustainable economic growth and for a new world economic order.” Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa went one step further, telling the gathered national leaders and representatives, “Only when we are united across Latin America and united around the world will we be able to make our voice heard and change an international order that is not just unfair, it is immoral.”

A report from AFP on Yahoo News, about the only report found in Western media, describes how Cuban President Raul Castro also participated, but reserved his comments for a call to help their top ally Venezuela. Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia and a number of South American countries have insisted they are currently under attack by the United States and the CIA, who they insist are desperately trying to orchestrate coups to overthrow their democratically elected, pro-socialist governments the same way they are accused of doing in the Ukraine recently.

Iran and the UN

An announcement published by the United Nations this weekend touts UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s enthusiastic participation in the G77 meeting. It discusses how important this massive alliance is to the goals of the UN, particularly with regard to reversing the world’s growing economic inequality among nations. Moon and the UN are also sponsoring a separate but related meeting of nations in September to draft new climate resolutions to be enacted in 2015.

The announcement describes a private meeting between the UN Secretary General and Iran’s Vice President, ‘On the margins of today’s summit, Mr. Ban met with the First Vice President of Iran, Eshaq Jahangiri, to discuss development issues, as well as the potential role that Iran could play in restoring stability in Iraq and Syria. The Secretary-General added that he looked forward to Iran’s positive involvement on climate change and said he very much hoped that President Hassan Rouhani would attend the climate summit this September.’ The report also says the two leaders discussed Iran’s nuclear ambitions and the coming July deadline for compliance with past mandates.

Threats of America’s “second Vietnam”

Many of the government leaders in attendance took the opportunity to strike a blow against what they consider to be the biggest enemy of world peace, democracy and economic freedom – the United States. One leader even went as far as calling out President Obama by name and threatening the United States with a second Vietnam.

As reported by the Times of India, the G77 conference’s host this weekend – Bolivian President Evo Morales – threatened the United States and the American President telling the gathered heads of state, “If Mr. Obama keeps assailing the people of Venezuela, I am convinced that, faced with provocation and aggression, Venezuela and Latin America will be a second Vietnam for the United States. Let us defend democracy, natural resources, our sovereignty and our dignity.”

Cuba’s President Raul Castro was possibly the most pointed and focused in his remarks regarding the agenda of the participating countries. As reported by the Havana Times, Castro told the alliance of 133 nations, “It is necessary to demand a new international financial and monetary order and fair commercial conditions for producers and importers from the guardians of capital, centered in the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, and from the defenders of neoliberalism grouped in the World Trade Organization, which are attempting to divide us. Only unity will allow us to make our ample majority prevail.”

UN Civil War – dissolving the UN Security Council

One of the more ambitious goals of the G77 and its 133 participating countries is the elimination of the United Nations Security Council. World leaders insist it is little more than a five-nation tyranny over the full UN body. With five permanent members of the UN Security Council having veto power over the rest, UN policies and actions have been dictated by those five countries – US, UK, Russia, France and China. Members of the G77 want the Security Council eliminated so the UN can go back to being a purely democratic body.

The Cuban leader went on to describe a global economic system run by American hypocrisy and financial corruption, “The principles of International Law and the postulates of the New International Economic Order are brazenly violated, concepts that attempt to legalize meddling are imposed, force is used and threats of force are made with impunity, the media are used to promote division.”

Dominoes beginning to fall

This is just the latest organized attack on a global financial system rigged by corrupt governments and the multinational corporations that control them. Just last month, Russia and China signed a long term trade alliance that represents the first major crack in the US Dollar bubble. The two countries agreed to stop using US Dollars in their transactions and instead use their own two currencies. The two largest banks from both countries immediately announced they would be dumping the US Dollar as well.

On top of that, the world’s ‘BRIC’ countries – Brazil, Russia, India and China – have publicly declared their goal of replacing the corrupted US Dollar with some other global default currency. Now that Russia and China have finally taken actual steps to do that, the remaining two-thirds of the world will most likely begin making preparations to stop using the US Dollar as well. It was only this weekend that 133 of them pledged to do just that.

The scary part for Americans is that both Washington and Wall Street have promised this would never happen, because if it did, it would destroy the US economic system and possibly the US itself. This is for all the kids born in the 70s and after who do not remember, and didn’t have to bear the burden that our fathers, mothers and older brothers and sisters had to bear.

Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the “100 Women of the Century.”

Barbara Walters writes: Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still countless others have never known how Ms. Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country, but specific men who served and sacrificed during the Vietnam War.

The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot. The pilot’s name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat. In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF Survival School was a POW in Ho Lo Prison, the “Hanoi Hilton.”

Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell, cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ’s, he was ordered to describe for a visiting American “peace activist” the “lenient and humane treatment” he’d received. He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was dragged away. During the subsequent beating, he fell forward onto the camp commandant ‘s feet, which sent that officer berserk.

In 1978, the Air Force Colonel still suffered from double vision (which permanently ended his flying career) from the commandant’s frenzied application of a wooden baton.

From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the 47FW/DO (F-4E’s). He spent 6 years in the “Hanoi Hilton”. . . the first three of which his family only knew he was “missing in action.” His wife lived on faith that he was still alive. His group, too, got the cleaned-up, fed and clothed routine in preparation for a “peace delegation” visit.

They, however, had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they were alive and still survived. Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his Social Security number on it, in the palm of his hand. When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man’s hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: “Aren’t you sorry you bombed babies?” and “Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?” Believing this HAD to be an act, they each palmed her their sliver of paper.

She took them all without missing a beat. . . At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed him all the little pieces of paper…

Three men died from the subsequent beatings. Colonel Carrigan was almost number four but he survived, which is the only reason we know of her actions that day.

I was a civilian economic development advisor in Vietnam, and was captured by the North Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in 1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years.

I spent 27 months in solitary confinement; one year in a cage in Cambodia; and one year in a ‘black box’ in Hanoi. My North Vietnamese captors deliberately poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a nurse in a leprosarium in Banme Thuot, South Vietnam, whom I buried in the jungle near the Cambodian border. At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs. (My normal weight is 170 lbs.)

We were Jane Fonda’s “war criminals.”

When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi, I was asked by the camp communist political officer if I would be willing to meet with her. I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real treatment we POWs received. .. . and how different it was from the treatment purported by the North Vietnamese, and parroted by her as “humane and lenient.”

Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched with a large steel weight strapped on my hands, and beaten with a bamboo cane.

I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda soon after I was released. I asked her if she would be willing to debate me on TV. She never did answer me.

These first-hand experiences do not exemplify someone who should be honored as part of “100 Years of Great Women.” Lest we forget. . .. “100 Years of Great Women” should never include a traitor whose hands are covered with the blood of so many patriots.

There are few things I have strong visceral reactions to, but Hanoi Jane’s participation in blatant treason, is one of them. Please take the time to forward to as many people as you possibly can. It will eventually end up on her computer, and she needs to know that we will never forget.

Dear CIGAs,

The Financial Times did a story over the weekend entitled “Central banks shift into equities”. Zero Hedge put this up Monday morning in response. The Official Monetary and Institutional Forum now says that central banks have invested $29.1 trillion into the global equity markets. Before going in to this, now we have a better understanding of how or “why” stock markets are “up”. We wondered how the markets were going up because everyone, EVERYONE so far this year has been reported to be a seller.  We wondered where the money was coming from to propel prices higher is everyone was selling, now we know.

I will give you a little perspective on this $29 trillion dollar figure because big numbers are thrown around like penny candy these days and we have become numbed (dumbed) down by such huge numbers. My point is this, there is no longer any shock value to any number no matter how large it is.

OK, in perspective, the value of all stock markets on the planet added together are about $62 trillion, now it is revealed that $29 trillion or so has come from the world’s central banks. How did this happen? Do central banks have an extra $29 trillion to throw around? The answer of course is no they do not… unless they just print it up and presto, there it is ready and able for whatever folly they choose.  For a little more perspective, the Federal Reserve supposedly has a total balance sheet of some $4.5 trillion or about 15% of this $29 trillion (I dropped the “.1” because it’s only $100 billion). But, this $4.5 trillion is all accounted for as being invested in Treasuries, agencies and some “junkier stuff.” Please don’t tell me that the world’s central banks are doing something that the Fed is not… or worse, the Fed is doing something that they are not admitting or accounting for!

Do you understand what this really means? The Fed (central banks) own nearly 50% of all stocks. This means that yes, stocks are REALLY manipulated and the tin foil hat crew was right again. It means that central banks can keep on creating fake money and putting that money into stocks to create fake(r) values… or …they can tank all of the stock markets worldwide at will with the press of a single button that has the word “sell” on it.

Going even further down the rabbit hole, this means that central banks own nearly half of the equity in all publicly held businesses. It means that by simply printing money, they have “privatized” the world! Of course, there is no telling as to when exactly this scheme started but let’s assume that sometime late in 2008 or early ’09 would be a good guess. The markets needed support AND it was a good entry level. Maybe this was something that “just happened” and then morphed into its current size? Maybe it wasn’t on purpose? I doubt this is the case as everything is orchestrated today, as the CIA is well known for saying, “there are no coincidences.” Who will the central banks sell to if the want out? Ahh, but why would they want out when they hold almost a majority position of the entire world.

So, we have wondered how the stock markets have done what they have done and we wondered how in the U.S. the markets have done well while the Fed has tapered their QE by $1/2 trillion annualized. Now we know, $500 billion is a puissant number that has been camouflaged by other, massive buying. Gold investors have also “wondered” how gold could go down in price while physical demand has far outstripped the actual supply.  “We” have told you how for a long time now, all the while being called tin foil hat wearing conspiracy freaks. We told you that at least 100 ounces of paper gold were being created to divert capital away from the real thing. We told you that these paper ounces were being used to dilute the real thing and hide what was actually happening. Do you believe us now?

Now that it turns out that an extra $29 trillion has been printed and put to work you must ask yourself several questions. First, if it was so easy to create all of this money (in the dark) and it is so plentiful, what is the money itself worth? What is it REALLY worth? Also, if the markets are where they are because of unnatural buying, where would they be trading on their own? How much lower? If gold is priced where it is today because there are 99 fakes out there for every real ounce then what is a real ounce worth if it is actually 99 times more rare? An even better question is this, if central banks were the sellers of real tangible gold for so many years and the conspiracy nuts are correct (as usual it seems lately) and the coffers are low, THEN what is an ounce worth?

Let me ask this question in a slightly different manner. If the West’s central banks have very little gold yet retain the ability to print money and suddenly decide that they would like to stack some of the “lost” gold, what would that do to the price? Or even differently, if money supply approaches infinity and gold reserves approach zero… then what price? Is the answer not infinity?

I hope that this revelation sinks in mentally for you. If not, please reread this because this is what it’s all about. You have been beaten over the head for at least 2 years to either sell your gold (and silver) or at least don’t buy it. It has been a psychological operation aimed directly at your finances through your emotions. Hopefully it hasn’t worked. If it has worked, then it is your job to un-work it. Stand strong, buy more or buy for the first time. We now know that we are (and were) 100% correct, nothing should get between you and your insurance policy!
