FRIENDS, CLEAR THINKING and accurate, relevant data are critically-important right now in the most immediate way possible. Your rights and liberties, and your American heritage are melting away RIGHT NOW. They will not be recovered in your lifetime or that of your kids if you let this happen.
You are about to end up subjected to constant surveillance by way of a cell phone you will be compelled to carry at all times for that purpose, or be chipped to accomplish the same goal. You will be compelled to accept a vaccine or be barred from interacting with the public (including getting on a plane or a train or a bus, into an Uber care, getting a haircut, etc.). The businesses owned by some of you and those of the folks for whom some of you work are being bankrupted and will disappear, or, if they are kept afloat by government handouts, will survive only at the expense of massive fiat-money inflation.
Government at all levels is learning what it can get away with and is going to become a real nightmare. Every American should, frankly, be shitting his or her drawers at the dark prospect before us, and then should be gathering themselves for unstinting reaction in a muscular effort to defend and enforce their rights, liberties and the rule of law.
THE FIRST FIELD OF BATTLE– hopefully the only one– is intellectual. It is the battle for the perceptions of the majority of Americans.
The dire straits we are in now result from the enemies of liberty having captured the public imagination with all the panic-inducing scare stories. We need to correct the misunderstandings in American minds that have led to the panic. Only when people are no longer afraid of death from a loathsome disease if they buck the “new normal” will they awaken to their true peril and do that bucking– which is the only thing that will save us at this point.
No politician is going to save us; no judge is going to do it. In fact, relying on either is itself a concession leaving all your rights hostage to the whimsy of politicians and judges. As Jefferson put it:
“A free people claim their rights as derived from the laws of nature, and not as the gift of their chief magistrate,” and
“To consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions (is) a very dangerous doctrine indeed and one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy.”HERE’S THE PROBLEM AND THE REASON I WRITE TODAY: I have been posting at LHC and on Facebook, and have been tweeting and Gabbing as well, my best efforts at clear-eyed analysis and commentary and accurate and relevant data. But NO ONE IS SEEING ANY OF IT!!!
My Facebook posts get 10 or 15 shares. My tweets get even fewer retweets than that. As a result, no one is seeing the data showing that the “curve” was flattened well before any “lockdown” began, and those measures did nothing but harm.
No one is seeing that the case fatality rate– state by state– is insignificant, no more than that of a mild flu season. No one is seeing that what few are taken by C19 are not in addition to the flu, but are the same people who would otherwise have ended up as a flu statistic.
Or, at least, they are not seeing it from me. Maybe you are vigorously sharing around someone else’s efforts to inform, and that’s why you don’t share mine. If that’s the answer, so be it, but I hope you are carefully assessing theirs and mine for quality and power before choosing which to spend your time and efforts getting out into broad circulation.
In any event, I urge all of you to review those decisions and give some thought to helping get my efforts to shake America loose from the madness which has her in its grip into wider circulation.
