I was pleasantly surprised to hear VP CW state that all 50 states were seated AND ALL THE PAPERWORK COMPLETED AND TURNED IN. Is that really true? I been scanning the thread looking for such statements from you guys but haven’t seen anything. What did I miss?

While we are discussing taxes. We paid into social security for the past 55 years. This was to be our retirement . Take into consideration that every dollar we paid into social security 50 years ago was like paying $8.00 today, plus the interest we would have earned throughout the years, and the politicians and media call it entitlement. We have also prepaid premiums for health care for years and they call it entitlement. They claim they borrowed our money, but it was actually stolen from us so they could use it to gain more power. We are all being affected. Correct people when they use the word entitlement. This is not a gift to seniors. Welfare is an entitlement program, not our small social security checks or Medicare for seniors. WE HAVE PAID FOR IT!

Might I correct your diction? Social Security and Medicare ARE entitlements. You paid in and your are “ENTITLED” to it. Welfare and Medicaid are handouts. Change the way you think of the definition of entitlement.

You are right Lana, we need to change the way we think of ‘entitlement.’ But her point was made…it’s not a handout or gift. After paying in to the “trust” you are ‘entitled’ to receive the money back you paid in for 55 years. This ‘trust’ has been dipped into over and over until it is broke. That is THEFT and anyone that had ANYTHING to do with stealing our Seniors money (and ours) should GO TO PRISON.

The country has been trained by the MSM to listen to 2-3 second sound bites only and makes instant decisions based on the sound bite, usually doctored up by the MSM. I have some success by “Did you hear that the Republic has been restored?” and then talk only about a subject that they are frustrated over and how we are fixing their concern. Sorry , not telling you anything, just found this an opportune moment to talk to myself. I’m just now ordering my 4th set of business cards.

I read on John McHaffie’s blog that the Seanate is going to vote on making Obama the king ! How absurd !

Hi Smokies! I am still here on and off. It’s a very busy time for the Republic Congress..lots of work. My daughter and 2 grandchildren have moved back in with me so I am helping there also.
