This film is historical in the fact it was co-produced and narrated by January 6th Political Prisoner Jake Lang from solitary confinement. Lang is arguably one of the most persecuted January 6th defendants and political prisoners in America today.

“Lang has balls of steel,” said Tina Ryan of Citizens Against Political Persecution. “He is literally facing almost half a century in prison for January 6th and being harshly persecuted for speaking out against The Biden Regime from solitary confinement. “The Truth About January 6th” was produced by Brick House Films in conjunction with Jake Lang and aims to tell Lang’s story alongside the events of the day.

“Our goal was to condense the material and make it understandable to the general public, to those that may not be aware of the deaths of Trump supporters due to the police violence towards protesters on January 6th,” said filmmaker & Executive Producer Brittany Manheim. “There are many people in American that do not even know that we have political prisoners. It is important that we reach these people. Sharing the truth for Jake, along with all of the other January 6th political prisoners, is imperative for justice.”

She continued- “Working with Jake and his father has been an incredible experience. Jake is one of the persistent and motivated people I’ve ever worked with. I admire his good faith and attitude through it all.”

The film is dedicated to the four Trump supporters who lost their lives on January 6th.

President Trump’s J6 attorney Peter Ticktin weighed in, saying he is very much looking forward to seeing the film.

“It is important that Americans know that there are people fighting every day to get the truth out about the election and January 6th,” said Mr. Ticktin. “We have brave Americans who see the truth and are making videos like this.”

The documentary also features leading J6 Attorney Joseph McBride as a media contributor and expert on the subject matter.

According to McBride,

“This documentary tells the story of how protestors were forced to come to the aid of American citizens who were being brutalized by a militarized police force stamping out free speech in the public square on January 6, 2021. “The Truth About January 6th” tells the story of Rosanne Boyland, a defenseless third party who was brutally assaulted and killed by the police, and how good men pleaded for her life before using force to try and save her life. This is extremely important in illustrating the very real fact that much of the force protestors used on January 6th was legally justified under the ‘Defense of a Third Person Doctrine’…and why that means that many of these men are are innocent of criminal assault.”

Lang’s defense attorney Steve Metcalf says he is impressed by his client’s character.

“Tenacious, passionate, and persistent are just some of the words that explain how Jake takes on any project,” said Metcalf. “I’m confident that such words also apply to the dedication of creating this documentary. Jake will not back down or stop until all the facts and truth surrounding his case and J6 are brought to light.”

This new footage includes a close-up clip of Lang saving the life of Philip Anderson. Anderson had signed a sworn affidavit that Lang saved his life that day as police teargassed and pushed other protesters on top of him.

The never-before-seen footage featured in “The Truth About January 6th” was taken in the vicinity of the death of Rosanne Boyland, where her friend Justin Winchell is seen pleading with other protesters to help save his friend Boyland from the police. We broke the story last September that a DC Metropolitan Police Officer named Lila Morris was seen beating Boyland brutally as she lay unconscious on the Capitol steps.

Jake Lang (in leather jacket with hands in air) pleads with police to stop teargassing the fallen and let him help a dying Rosanne Boyland who is at his feet (not seen in photo but undisputedly documented in video to be exactly underneath where Lang stands). According to witnesses, police allegedly refused to let protesters help Boyland.

The truth about January 6th is that the day was more nuanced than the fake news media has portrayed it. There were areas around the Capitol that were completely peaceful, and areas that were more violent. For example, we all saw the footage of violent Capitol police officer Michael Byrd shooting and killing unarmed veteran Ashli Babbitt. Much of the violence that day came from police officers attacking and provoking Trump supporters to retaliate.

The documentary illustrates that one of the areas with the most mayhem was the West Capitol Steps around the time of the death of peaceful protester Rosanne Boyland. From afar, it looks like protesters were randomly hurling objects at police and swinging hockey sticks and flagpoles in their direction. This never made sense as most of these guys are former military and law enforcement that support police.

After an in-depth investigation dating back a year, we at The Gateway Pundit have found irrefutable evidence that the men in this scene were not arbitrarily attacking police. They SAW something and were REACTING. Each and every protester in that area witnessed the brutal beating of protester Rosanne Boyland by Police Officer Lila Morris. They also witnessed cops beating other women like Victoria White. They witnessed the massive use of force by police as they teargassed protesters and pushed the crowd into a deep pile. Police continued to douse the crowd with tear gas that literally created a deathtrap where protesters started to suffocate and pass out. Fellow protesters that desperately tried to assist the fallen were struck by police or teargassed as they begged for help.

Rosanne Boyland, Philip Anderson and Tommy Tatum were three of the known protesters under that pile. Rosanne passed away. Then the government lied to us and reported she died of a drug overdose.

An unconscious Anderson and Tatum were pulled out with the help of Edward Jacob Lang. Lang is currently facing decades in prison for his actions that day if found guilty at trial.

“Lang is a hero,” said Ryan. “He saved two lives and is also seen trying to save Rosanne Boyland as cops attacked her. Yet he perishes in solitary confinement, a prisoner of The Biden Regime, for saving the lives of two peaceful American protesters exercising their First Amendment rights.”

Besides Lang, there are close to a dozen if not more men that are sitting in jail or awaiting trial that were near the West Capitol Steps. These men include Ronald McAbee, Jonathan Mellis, Shane Jenkins, Jeff Sabol, Peter Stager, Ryan Nichols, Jack Whitton, Michael Lopadic, Clayton Ray Mullins, Logan Barnhart, Luke Coffee and Michael Foy. There is video proof that is not available to the public that shows many of these prisoners trying to desperately help the fallen that has been hidden from the public. There is also video proof that their hostility towards police came during and after they eye-witnessed the death of Rosanne Boyland and the attacks by police on other Trump supporters in that area.

The “Truth About January 6th” documentary aims to explore this accurate narrative and dispel the fake story that average “Back the Blue” Trump supporters were randomly and arbitrarily attacking police for no reason.

“It is important that you share this documentary with those who don’t know the story. We have to change the hearts and minds of the average American, the moderates, the fair Democrats,” said Ryan of Citizens Against Political Persecution. “We have to make them understand there was more to that day than what they were told.
